"I was out photographing in the middle of a big snow dump on Mount Hotham. The associated fog was coming and going and I was in search of some trees I had identified during summer. I knew I was close and as the fog cleared this snow gum revealed itself before me. I then just had to battle the strong winds and constant snow to keep my camera lens dry and not get blown away."
