I had spent most of the day exploring in Namadgi National Park, having walked to the top of Mount Gingera and made it back to Kingston just in time for sunset. Finishing the day with the busy parade of people walking, running and cycling by the Kingston foreshore was a stark contrast to the remote wilderness I had experienced only a few hours away. A great reminder of how Canberra is a modern cosmopolitan city in which to to live, yet has the convenience and easy access to remote Alpine areas."- Scott
