"Tenaru Falls is regarded as one of the best waterfalls in the Solomon Islands. Keen to photograph the falls I embarked on the trip to the lush green rural areas of Guadalcanal. I started the walk to the falls with a local guide. It was a steep, muddy and very slippery jungle track - the walk in was part of the adventure. The hot humid conditions meant I was sweating profusely and ensured I was looking forward to taking a dip in the waters below the falls. After quite a few river and creek crossings I arrived to stunning conditions to capture the falls. Not long after taking this image the tropical rains reduced visibility too much to photograph further. The adventure in and out was certainly worth it to experience these falls in their tropical best." - Scott
